Barnsdall Sunday - Wine+Food+Art+Music - Silver Lake Art Crawl Party

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!

 To celebrate the Silver Lake Art Crawl, Barnsdall Art Park will be hosting the official party at the Great Lawn. Much like our Barnsdall Fridays all summer, the event will be a great place to have a picnic, drinks, and listen to great music.

The event on the Great Lawn will be free, and if you would like to join in a wine tasting at the West Lawn of the Hollyhock House, please purchase your ticket at http://barnsdallsunday.eventbrite.com

Wine Tasting: A three (3) glass flight will be offered by City Sip on the lawn of the Hollyhock House. Ticket prices are $12 in advance (up to 2 hours prior), and $20 at the door.

Music: Mario Cotto from KCRW will be spinning tunes for wine tasters and picnicers alike.

Guided Tours: We also offer GUIDED TOURS of the inside of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece, the Hollyhock House, led by house docents.  Tickets can be purchased for $7 at Barnsdall on Sunday (at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery reception desk). Tours are happening at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30pm.

FREE Children's Art Classes: From 2pm-4pm, Barnsdall will be hosting Barnsdall Art Sundays.

Art Gallery: The Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery will be open for the Silver Lake Art Crawl, and will be showing work for the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, 20th National Exhibition.

Food:  Bring a picnic! You are welcome to bring your own food, soft drinks, and a blanket; however, NO outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the West Lawn.

Since we are always hungry for dogs, Let's Be Frank will be serving grass-fed dogs and sausages. We assume you will have had a rough Saturday night, so to help,Tiago will be serving pour-over and cold brew coffee....and how can a sunday be complete without Coolhaus serving their amazing architecturally inspired ice-cream sandwiches. All the hungry veggie eaters line up, cuz Dosa Truck will be serving up the Dosas. For the kids (and those who "make their own mixed drinks") Del's Lemonade, one of the newest trucks to join, brings gourmet italian ices from Rhode Island.

The last truck was going to be a secret, but since Eater LA has already let the cat out of the bag, we are getting a preview visit by the Buttermilk Truck!!!!

Parking: Free parking is available at the top and bottom of Barnsdall Art Park.  Handicap parking is available at the top. If the lot is full, free additional parking is available at the Kaiser Hospital parking lot.  Enter on Sunset Blvd, just west of Vermont. There are stairs and an elevator behind the parking structure that will bring you up to the wine tasting.

Policies: No refunds. In the event of weather or event cancellation, a rain check will be provided for the next Barnsdall event.

Children under 21 are welcome to join the event, and encouraged to join the FREE Art Classes, but will not be permitted to consume alcohol. Valid Photo ID is required to partake in the tasting.

Dogs and animals are permitted on leash in the general park areas right outside the Hollyhock House West Lawn, but are not permitted inside the gated West Lawn area.
